Decided to try Interzone with a 2nd story, “Phlegethon,” but this time I got a 3-day form rejection: a step down from the earlier 44-day personal rejection for “Diver.” Dang it. I felt like “Phlegethon” was a stronger story so I thought it’d stand a better chance. Oh well, at least it was a quick turnaround so I can promptly send it somewhere else.
Today hasn’t exactly been the best day ever.
